Clinexpert Kft. was established in 2004 by a group of psychiatrists and neurologists to be able to participate in applied medical research in a uniform settings where they have all had a great deal of experience before. In order to create the organized framework for this activity, the company first created a clinical research center, a so-called SMO (Study Management Office) operating within a high-quality private healthcare institution in Budapest. 

It is important to emphasize that this has given rise to the second such company in Hungary, which has been the first fully Hungarian-owned business entity so far. In accordance with the various waves of pharmaceutical innovation, the company has been continuously expanding according to the indications of new research projects, so by now, it has expanded its research range to 14 specialist area from the initial 2 medical fields.

In 2016, as a further phase of successful operation, the Pál Bugát Hospital in Gyöngyös asked Clinexpert Kft. to act as a partner providing professional background for research projects in the hospital in the scope of operating a subsidiary. During one and a half years of cooperation, the number of phase II, III and III clinical trials in the hospital increased six fold and the number of patients participating in the studies has increased tenfold.

The team assisting doctors has increased fourfold compared to the initial number.  All of them have tertiary degrees in science and/or health care and are fluent in many foreign languages. Clinexpert Kft’s team of physician with over 100 doctors at the four locations is made up of professionals who wish to exploit their high level of expertise and conduct their research activities under advanced conditions according to European standards, transparently and at the highest possible quality level.
